First women's adapted surfing team

Primer equipo femenino de surf adaptado

Nearly 50 athletes will gather at Playa de Patos (Pontevedra), an emblematic spot where this event, which is celebrated in a pioneering way in Spain, will take place.

The Fundación Adapted Surfing women's team is also made up of Audrey Pascual (in the photo above), María Díaz, Mara Zabala and Catalina Alomar Pascual who will participate on Saturday, September 25 in the national championship and on Sunday the 26th at the I International Adapted Surfing Trophy of the City Council of Nigrán with Audrey Pascual as representative and world champion for Adaptive Surfing teams with the Spanish team at the AmpSurf ISA WORLDS Para Surfing Championship held in California in 2020.

In each of the modalities our participants, Audrey Pascual (world champion in Adaptive Surfing teams with the Spanish team at the AmpSurf ISA World Para Surfing Championship held in California in 2020), María Díaz, Mara Zabala and Catalina Alomar, will compete in different categories and will surf the waves of Playa de Patos to determine who will be the champions at regional, national and international level. On Saturday, the entire Foundation team will also participate, and on Sunday, our champion Audrey Pascual will compete in the international championship, which she arrives with great determination and all the enthusiasm to achieve success.
